Human the Death Dance Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

The great spoken word artist Sage Francis has released his new hip-hop album, Human the Death Dance.

This album turns inward to explore personal issues more, where his previous albums focused more on sociopolitical issues. Of course, it still gives the same great work from Sage Francis, in a mix between spoken word and hip-hop.

V For Vendetta Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

Today, I have a special treat from YouTube. The following video contains graphic art to the poetic introduction of V from the popular movie V For Vendetta:

While on the topic of V For Vendetta, I like V’s speech most of all. So, I include that too:

Make sure to turn your computer’s volume up when you listen to it. I like how the speech applied to the real present world, even though they set it in a fictional and futuristic world.
